 Yes, three Multi-Faith/Prayer Rooms are available:

• Near the main security point, opposite the domestic passenger screening area.
• In the Domestic Departures Lounge, near Hungry Jack’s.
• In the International Departures Lounge on Level 2, near WHSmith.

Car parks are accessible 24/7.

Yes. Use your credit card at entry and exit, or pay at terminals near the front of the terminal or inside the car parks.

Due to Commonwealth Government security regulations, parking is not permitted directly in front of the terminal. The drop-off area is a no-parking zone—passengers must be ready and waiting kerbside.

A reasonable grace period applies. Beyond that, standard daily rates will be charged to your card on exit.

We recommend booking online to guarantee your space, but drive-up options are available.

Rideshare pick-up is located outside the terminal in the designated rideshare area. 

While there's no train station at the airport, you can take a bus or shuttle from Varsity Lakes or Helensvale train stations.

Ideally, aircraft fly by the most direct route and at the optimum altitude for reasons of operational safety, economy and efficiency of flight operations. However, it is not always possible for aircraft to fly optimum routes because of noise and safety considerations and the competing demands of other airspace users.

Some factors that influence flight paths are: 

• Runway orientation
• The need to separate arriving and departing aircraft
• The need to provide an appropriate safety buffer around aircraft following the same path or on intersecting paths
• The need to integrate the flight paths for each airport in the region
• Avoidance of hills or other obstructions
• Minimisation of noise impact where possible
• Weather conditions
• Avoidance of restricted airspace (usually for security or safety reasons)
• Efficient use of airspace

Flight paths are commonly used air corridors. Flight zones cover a wider area where aircraft may be seen and heard during normal operations.

Yes. Duty-free shopping is available through Heinemann in both the International Departures Lounge and Arrivals area. Travellers can shop a range of products including cosmetics, fragrances, alcohol, and electronics before boarding their international flight or upon arrival.

• 2.25 litres of alcohol
